Meet Ed
& Robyn
Rev. Ed Beck is a
United Methodist pastor who has spent
his ministry serving churches in southwestern Ohio.
After an early
retirement due to Robyn's health, he took a part-time
position as chaplain of Westover and Berkeley Square
retirement
communities in Hamilton, Ohio. In 2003, he felt God's
call to
return to the pastorate and is currently serving the Darrtown
and McGonigle-Millville United Methodist Churches
Robyn taught first grade for 11 years in the Hamilton City
Schools until her chronic illness began in 1988. The
next 20 years were marked by chronic pain, fatigue, and
mounting medical bills. When Ed was called back into the
pastorate, God began to speak to her as well. She
received her Local Church Lay Speaker's license and began her
ministry on a limited basis. In 2007, her took a serious
turn for the worse, and she spent a year confined to her home
It was during this year of suffering that God called Robyn and
Ed to begin a healing ministry. Robyn was literally
called out of her sickbed to speak at their first healing
service in April, 2008. Since then, their healing
ministry continues to flourish as they offer encouragement and
comfort through their personal experiences.
